![]() | Meet our newest "Whippet Friends," Jenny Haverland, her whippets Winnie and Travis, and their greyhound sister, Taylor. All three were rescued at different times, and amazingly, they are so similar in color you'd swear they are related (they really aren't, though.) Here's a shot of the whole gang all dressed up in their Christmas outfits last year. Winnie (the whippet on the right) was rescued two years ago at the age of five, and has the rare accomplishment of being a Certified Pet Therapy dog. She now "rescues" people in need of a whippet friend. Jenny reports, "We visit our local Hospice House twice monthly. She knows exactly what to do when we walk in. She leaves her sassy attitude at the door, jumps up on the patient's bed, lies down and stays there until the petting stops." |

Thanks to Jenny for sharing these great pictures of her family with us. We wish them all best and we are very proud of Winnie's accomplishments as a Pet Therapy Dog.
