Here are whippets Danny and Shannon and their mom, Hilda Spain-Owen.

Danny is nine years old and very dignified. Shannon is four, and definitely the mischief maker in the family! When Shannon arrived three years ago, Danny thought she acted way too much like a dog, so he had to set her straight about all that. Now she is a perfect "human/dog," and the family is happy.

Smoothie is another one of our new whippet friends. She lives in Marina del Rey, California with her moms, the "2 bohemians" Christine and Racquel. Here she is spending a happy day near the river.
