NEW PICTURES OF RIPLEY!

Scroll down for new pictures of Ripley. As you remember, Catrina Christian and her boyfriend Brent McDowell of Waxahachie, Texas, sent these pictures of their amazing puppy, Second to None "Ripley". The first pictures were taken at six weeks. The new pictures are at several months, and Ripley is growing like a weed.

Like a lot of people, Catrina did tons of research before she decided on a whippet. As a former greyhound owner, she loved sighthounds but wanted a smaller breed. Needless to say, she and Brent fell totally in love with whippets and now Ripley is their whole life. Catrina writes, "Everything revolves around him now and that's just the way he likes it."

Ripley was born on the 4th of July, 2003. He is a very handsome grey and white with grey/blue eyes.

Ripley's hobbies so far are taking naps, chasing the cat, crickets, grasshoppers, and just about anything else that moves, and watching his Dad's car races. Brent races IMCA Modifieds on dirt track and Ripley has become the race mascot.

Ripley also loves going to work with his Mom, and in general showing off how smart he is (and he is VERY smart)

Ok, here is the new "almost grown up" Ripley. As you can see, he has turned into a really handsome guy. These pictures were taken at around 16 weeks.

Ripley continues to get smarter and smarter. He can now sit, laydown, shake, fetch, return, and speak. He is just a regular canine Einstein.

This picture was taken at a whippet race in Celina, Texas. Cat took Ripley to check out the racing scene and they had fun but Ripley probably won't be doing any racing himself
